As a surfer, the ocean is our playground. If we want our children and future generations to continue surfing, we must respect and protect this natural environment. However, despite too few local initiatives, the surfboards we use are still too polluting, non-recyclable and toxic to the marine environment. It is the paradox of the surfer.
Today, thanks to 3D printing, we manage to manufacture boards whose core consists of plastic waste. We then laminate this core with a biocomposite alloy, to obtain surfboards which help to preserve the eco-systems.
Local production, nearby suppliers, zero waste policy, end-of-life management of boards ... We have redesigned the entire process of making a surfboard to make it as responsible as possible, with regard to human beings and the environment.
