The French Swimming Federation

It is the governing body of swimming in France. Founded in 1919, its mission is to promote and develop the practice of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming throughout France.

The FFN thus organizes numerous competitions each year, regional and national championships, as well as training courses for coaches and officials. It is also responsible for selecting French teams for international competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships.

The French Swimming Federation now has more than 270,000 members, spread over more than 1,300 affiliated clubs.

Over the years, the French Swimming Federation has become a major player in sport in France, contributing to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the training of many top athletes.
