A sporting story.
In 2011, Antoine Marquais, a Frenchman living in Belgium, was passionate about wakeboarding and looking for a place to create his own ski lift. The same year, he discovered the current terrain. He has a real crush on this haven of peace, a mixture of green nature and spring water. He decides, with Sébastien Dossou, also passionate, to mount his ski lift on the lake occupying ten hectares. The Belgium Cable Park opens inApril 2012. Wakeboarding was then a niche sport, fairly widespread in Germany but very little in Belgium.
In 2013, Antoine met Alice, also French. At the time, she ran a visual merchandising company for almost 10 years. She decides to participate actively, in collaboration with Sébastien,in the opening in 2014 of Bertine, a foodtruck offering customers the possibility of eating home-made burgers. Continuing her discovery of the park and the project in her hopes of development, she decides to join Antoine for the creation of a tree climbing in a forest area which lends itself perfectly to this activity:My Little Forest opens its doors in April 2015.
Aware that their clientele is looking for varied activities suitable for all ages and all tastes, Alice & Antoine decide to continue developing the park by continuing to diversify their offer. In June 2017opens the first aquapark in Belgium: Le Plongeoir!
2018was a new step. Until now, each of our activities communicated separately and had their own visual identity. Our activities and services were brought together under the name of "Dock 79 - leisure park".
2020was marked by the opening of our first indoor activity: a trampoline park, in a new building facing the lake, also hosting a larger dining area.
