The main goal of our school is to provide unforgettable experiences for our students, whether it is during a surf or paddle baptism, or by taking you from a beginner level to an experienced intermediate level. We teach surfing, longboard and stand up paddle, to all interested people from 6 years old.

We are a school certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (nº596) and registered with the Tourism of Portugal (RNAAT nº 160/2021), we have coaches with a duly recognized surf coach license.

Am I fit to surf at Marias Surf School?

If you are in good health and over the age of 6, there is nothing stopping you from having fun while learning to surf.

A few words from the founder of Marias Surf School

Hello, my name is Bruno! In my professional life, I passed through the commercial sector and several years in the industry, as director of quality, HST and production. In 2019 I took a new direction and opened Marias Hostel & Surf, now Marias is more adult! Professionalism and quality, combined with fun and friendship, this is what you can expect from Marias Surf School in Furadouro, with our surf lessons in small groups, 5 students maximum per instructor!
