Welcome to Axelair, the kitesurfing school in Carnon Plage!

Axelair is a school in Carnon that offers you to learn or improve your skills in kitesurfing or wing foil, and this at your own pace. Classes are available from 14 to 65 years old.

The Axelair team is made up of salespeople, instructors and testers/riders. The kitesurfing and wing foil instructors are selected by them and they are all BPJEPS or DE graduates. They are more than instructors, they are themselves passionate about kitesurfing and/or wing foiling.

Axelair's goal: for you to be independent

To be sure that you can practice water sports on your own, the instructors will make you work in all possible situations (beach, shallow water and deep water). But how can you be sure that you are independent? With the radio system, the instructor will give you advice and instructions to improve. Then as soon as you have assimilated a skill, the instructor will give you less and less instructions until you fly on your own!

The whole team will know how to put you in confidence so that you can become the next professional in kitesurfing and/or wing foil.

With a radio set up by Axelair in the 2000s, the monitor is now with you all the time.

Lessons

Kitesurfing and wingfoil at Axelair

All classes are limited to 4 or 5 people to ensure you a privileged follow-up. The spot is remote, therefore asking you to get there via one of their boats. A quiet place without the crowds.
If you progress faster than the others, the Axelair team will put you in a group that has a higher level. The goal is really that at the end of your sessions, you are independent and have fun!

Internships

To learn faster, come and test a 4-day course at Axelair! A fun way to introduce yourself to kitesurfing. You will learn to master your traction wing, to pilot and to make your first tacks!

The other courses

kite foil

Kitefoil is a water sport that requires a good level in kitesurfing. In the form of a private lesson, you will learn to master the kitefoil and to make your edges. The difference with kitesurfing is that kitesurfing is practiced with a foil. The foil is made up of a wing and a stabilizer at the back, so you are no longer on the water but above the water. That's why some say the foil allows you to fly!
Kitefoil lessons are possible from April to November. A course lasts 4 hours, which includes 3 hours of practice alternated by an hour of debriefing and theoretical course.

Browsing monitored

For those who already have their own equipment, you have the option of opting for monitored navigation. The principle is simple, you practice the sport you want (kitesurfing, wing foil) and the Axelair team is there to ensure your safety. In addition, she will give you completely personalized coaching so that you can improve your skills. A way also to know if you can be completely autonomous.
